• Another Rumored Match For SummerSlam 2019 Revealed

As we noted before, The Undertaker vs. Drew McIntyre is rumored to take place at SummerSlam 2019 (with seeds for this match most likely getting planted this Sunday at Extreme Rules 2019 PPV).

According to the Wrestling Observer, another match that might happen at SummerSlam 2019 is Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon.

The seeds for this feud were planted on this week’s episode of SmackDown, Owens dropped a “pipe bomb” on how Shane O’Mac gets a lot more TV time than other deserving performers.

Owens vs. Shane happened back in 2017 as well, inside Hell in a Cell, but Shane was the babyface and Owens was the heel back then (now the roles are reversed and Shane is now the ‘Best in the World’).

Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff will officially begin their job as Executive Directors of RAW & SmackDown (respectively) starting from next week, after this Sunday’s Extreme Rules 2019 PPV.

With that being said, WrestleVotes is reporting that Heyman & Bischoff will be given the opportunity to start fresh angles and new storylines heading into SummerSlam 2019, which means they can change originally planned storylines for SummerSlam 2019 if they feel the need to.

Below is what WrestleVotes posted:

“Was told recently that anything WWE had planned for SummerSlam in advance was all subject to change once Bischoff & Heyman fully start their roles this upcoming week. Good on Vince & Co to allow a legitimate clean start. No forced agendas off the jump. That’s how it should be.”
