During a recent episode of the “Behind The Turnbuckle” podcast, Jonathan Coachman revealed that he was approached to participate in the Netflix “Mr. McMahon” documentary but declined, believing it would be a “hit piece.”
Coachman explained, “People need to understand, I got called for this doc, and at the time, I was not prepared to go into a doc that I felt was going to be a hit piece.
In hindsight, would I have liked to have been in it?
I mean, it doesn’t matter to me one way or the other.”
Coachman also disclosed that another production company is currently working on a WWE documentary, and they reached out to him for potential involvement.
“Full transparency, another production company on a major network reached out to me yesterday and they’re doing another documentary on the WWE.
I don’t know what the network is.
They’re actually calling me today after we get done with this show about me being in that one because a lot of people don’t realize how close I was to Vince for many years,” Coachman shared.
Details about this new documentary remain limited at the moment.
