• Old School WWF Celebrity Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Celebrity Drew Carey celebrates his 61st birthday today.

Drew Carey entered the 2001 Royal Rumble match as #5, but managed to eliminate himself after being attacked by Kane.

That’s the appearance that eventually got him inducted into the Celebrity Wing of the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.

Because of his induction, he is now considered one of the worst Hall of Famers in WWF/E History by a large group of Fans.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DREW CAREY!

• Another Wrestler Refusing To Go To Saudi Arabia For WWE Super ShowDown 2019

WWE Officials told their wrestlers last year that no one will be forced to work the Saudi Arabia PPVs and that wrestlers are free to inform them about not wanting to work the show (and there will be no heat on them).

According to Fightful, SmackDown Superstar Kevin Owens has informed WWE that he doesn’t want to work the WWE Super ShowDown 2019 PPV in Saudi Arabia, most likely because his friend, Sami Zayn, isn’t allowed to work those shows because he is a Syrian Muslim:

“We weren’t told a specific reason as to why Owens came to the decision, but his friend and longtime tag team partner Sami Zayn has been off of those shows because of strained relationships between Syria and Saudi Arabia.”

According to the Wrestling Observer, another WWE wrestler that won’t be going to Saudi Arabia for WWE Super ShowDown 2019 PPV is SmackDown Tag Team Champion, Daniel Bryan.

This doesn’t come as a surprise, as Bryan refused to work last year’s WWE Crown Jewel 2018 PPV in Saudi Arabia as well.

You can now add one more wrestler to this list – Aleister Black. Post Wrestling is reporting that Black isn’t willing to go to Saudi Arabia and has informed WWE officials about his decision to not go.
