• Another WWE Office Release Revealed

Another name has been revealed in WWE’s recent round of post-WrestleMania office layoffs, this time affecting digital and creative staff, according to Fightful Select.

Andrew Karr, who spent 9 years with the company, was among those let go. He began as an announcer for EVOLVE before moving into a behind-the-scenes role, helping produce WWE documentaries and digital content.

Ryan Pappolla was also part of the cuts. His departure had already been reported. He was known for his on-screen work with WWE digital shows like The Bump.

These layoffs follow the exit of Christine Lubrano, who was Senior Vice President of Creative Writing Operations. She helped oversee coordination between the creative teams for RAW, SmackDown, and NXT.

Other departments affected include Creative Services, Photography, and other areas tied to media production, as part of TKO’s ongoing restructuring.

• Former WWE Diva Teases A Comeback

Former WWE Diva Summer Rae (Real name: Danielle Moinet), is considering a return to wrestling after retiring in 2017. In a recent interview with Justin Dhillon of The Wrestling Classic, Moinet shared that her work in Hollywood has reignited her passion for the sport.

“I’ve been getting the itch a little bit,” she admitted. She has been involved in film and TV projects that require wrestling and has been training with Chavo Guerrero.

According to Moinet, Guerrero’s encouragement has been impactful. “Chavo Guerrero recently told me that I still have it, and I’m like, ‘Chavo, don’t say that,’” she said. She added, laughing, “He also gave me a Guerrero shirt, and I wear it now, and I feel like I’m one of them.”

Although she retired from WWE years ago, Summer Rae made a surprise appearance in the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match. Notably, she was paid in cryptocurrency for this appearance and has expressed ongoing interest in the crypto world.
