The latest WWE Superstar that got added to the injury list is Sheamus.
It should be noted that Sheamus is currently Mr. Money in the Bank but isn’t involved in any major storyline.
Sheamus reportedly suffered a concussion and that is the reason why he didn’t work this week’s SmackDown tapings and missed the Australian tour as well. WWE pulling him from the tour could be a precautionary measure as WWE takes concussions very seriously since the Chris Benoit incident in 2007. WWE hasn’t made an official announcement on this yet.
In a related news, Roman Reigns was attacked by a fan at last night’s WWE Live Event, when the hit threw a replica Money in the Bank briefcase and it hit Roman Reigns in the back of his head. Reigns was temporarily knocked out after this and remained in the corner of the ring for some time.
Police arrived to the ringside area and the fans involved in the incident were ejected from the arena. Roman Reigns appeared fine and was able to finish the match. Below is a video from last night’s WWE Live Event:
