• WWE recently applied for a trademark for the name Saquon Shugars. However, at the time of the filing, it was unclear who would be associated with this name. Now, the mystery has been solved.
During a recent NXT Live Event held in Dada City on Friday night, Lucky Ali wrestled under the name Saquon Shugars. He teamed up with Joshua Black and lost to Edris Enofe and Malik Blade.
Ali began his wrestling career in 2018, competing for various promotions such as Fire Star Pro Wrestling, PWX, DEADLOCK Pro-Wrestling, among others. After attending a WWE tryout last year, he officially joined the company in January.
Saquon Shugars has participated in only three matches so far in WWE, with his first two bouts taking place in February at Live Events.
As we noted earlier, Fit Finlay’s son Brogan Finlay also has a new name in NXT – Uriah Connors.
