• Arn Anderson Reveals His AEW Future

During a recent Q&A on AdFreeShows, Old School WCW/NWA/WWF Legend Arn Anderson suggested that he could retire from his non-wrestling positions in Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling in 2023, but eventually went on Twitter to clear up his mistake and reveal that he will be around as long as he’s able to contribute to professional wrestling.

Here’s what the former WWF World Tag Team Champion posted:

“Just to be clear, I am under contract with AEW for another year and a half. I hope to be able to repay Tony for having (my son) Brock and I as a part of AEW and I have many friends who work there. I misspoke when I said 2023.

If I created any incorrect narrative, I apologize. The truth is, I would like to be around for as long as I can contribute to the business and am still having fun. I’m sure the article in question didn’t spark mass panic, but I just wanted to clear up my mistake. I believe a person’s word means something, even in our crazy world!

-AA”

Arn Anderson retired as an active professional wrestler in 1997 after performing for the biggest promotions on the planet for 15 years since 1982, including stints in Jim Crockett Promotions (1984-1988), the World Wrestling Federation (1988-1989) and World Championship Wrestling (1989-1997).

After his retirement, Arn still stayed with WCW in non-wrestling positions until the company was sold to Vince McMahon in March 2001 and then joined the WWF (later WWE), where he worked till 2019 and then joined Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling.
