Below are a couple of top AEW & WWE news stories of the day.

• WWE and AEW have a history of competing directly against each other, from scheduling conflicts to taking shots at each other in various ways. This rivalry will continue with another Tuesday night showdown between NXT and Dynamite this fall.

AEW announced their Worlds End pay-per-view for December 28 in Orlando, Florida, months ago. However, WWE recently announced a House Show / untelevised Live Event in Orlando on the same night, just minutes away from AEW’s venue.

While this won’t affect AEW’s pay-per-view buys, it will definitely impact their attendance for Worlds End.

Here’s what Fightful Select reported about the backstage AEW reaction to WWE’s move:

“Based on the reactions that I’ve got, just a ‘Well of course they are’ type of thing. Yes, it will affect ticket sales. WWE is a very, very hot ticket right now and it’s their holiday tour so that will do good. This is obviously intentional and a concentrated effort and it’s a part of competition. It’s the nature of competition and the way things work.”

• At Fanatics Fest, Jey Uso revealed how the relationship with his brother Jimmy Uso has changed since his singles run:

“I never looked at myself like a singles wrestler. I’m always with my brother from day one. I mean from the sandbox all the way up.

This past year is my first year, you know, alone, you know, kind of don’t see him no more. We don’t ride together as much. I’m just riding a ride, you know.”

At WrestleMania 40, Jey defeated Jimmy in their first ever match against each other.
