• Backstage News On Aleister Black’s Booking, Reason For His Release
As we noted earlier, Aleister Black appeared on a live stream on Twitch after getting released from WWE.
During the stream, Black revealed that “budget cuts” was the reason that WWE told him for his release.
According to Fightful Select, the WWE creative team was recently told to stop making pitches for Black.
“Aleister Black was brought back to TV to kick off a feud with Big E, which we’re told had no long-term endgame, and many of those associated with putting together the story didn’t even know that he was being released. Recently, creative was told to stop making pitches for Black, but weren’t told why.”
