Below are some top news stories of the day, involving Becky Lynch and Eric Bischoff.
• Becky Lynch recently fueled fan anticipation by announcing her appearance at Vulture Festival on November 17th, where she teased talking about her book, career, and “maybe what’s next”.
However, since her loss to Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship in May, Lynch has been absent from WWE, leaving fans to speculate about her return to the ring.
According to Fightful Select, WWE and Lynch seem to be aligned regarding her comeback:
“From the time Becky Lynch left WWE, both sides seemed to believe that whenever the time came for Becky to return, it’d likely be there. She’s enjoying her time off, and WWE is trying to respect that.”
It was previously reported that Lynch did not sign an extension or new contract before her previous deal expired, which makes her a free agent. While WWE doesn’t expect Lynch to join another company right away, her free-agent status opens the door to potential offers from other promotions.

• Former WCW President Eric Bischoff is stepping back into the role of a pro wrestling company head — but just for one night.
Major League Wrestling revealed that Bischoff will have “total creative control” over its One-Shot event on December 5 in New York City.
The idea emerged from a conversation on Bischoff’s Wise Choices podcast with Emmy-winning actor and MLW talent Paul Walter Hauser. During the show, Hauser suggested to MLW’s Court Bauer that Bischoff should participate in an MLW event.
“I would love to have you come do something with us, man. It’d be awesome,” Hauser told Bischoff.
Bischoff chuckled, saying Hauser could ask Bauer, though he wasn’t holding his breath. Right then, Hauser called Bauer and asked if he’d consider bringing Bischoff in for a one-off with MLW.
“Without hesitation, the answer is absolutely yes,” Bauer replied. “In fact, we have an [event] coming up called One-Shot. Eric taking over in New York City, a place he’s never promoted before? That sounds like money. They say controversy creates cash, well, this creates money. Ask him if he’s up for December 5.”
