• Backstage News On If Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar Will Be Title For Title At WrestleMania 38
On this week’s RAW, Men’s Royal Rumble 2022 Winner Brock Lesnar came out and said he isn’t mad at WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, he’s mad at Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman.
Lesnar then said:
“Don’t worry Bobby, it’s not you. At WrestleMania, I’m going to face Roman Reigns. But at WrestleMania, Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns is going to be Title vs. Title.”

Brock then challenged Bobby to a Title rematch, but MVP declined. Lesnar called Lashley chicken sh*t and Lashley got angry, but MVP held him back.
Adam Pearce then announced that Lesnar will be one of the participants in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match.
While WWE is teasing the idea of a Title vs. Title match at WrestleMania 38, Wrestling Observer is reporting that only the Universal Title will be on the line in the Reigns vs. Lesnar main event:
“I have been told multiple times that it is not title vs title, Roman vs Brock. But, they’ve done segments where both of them talk about Title vs Title — they’re telling you what they want but they’re not going to give it to them.”

• Old School NWA/WWF Legend Celebrates His Birthday
Old School Wrestling Legend “Hoss Funk” Dory Funk Jr. celebrates his 81st birthday.
He’s a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion, just like his brother Terry Funk.
Dory (as Hoss Funk) and his brother Terry also formed a Tag Team in the World Wrestling Federation in 1986, before Terry left the promotion shortly after WrestleMania 2, which resulted in Hoss Funk teaming with their kayfabe brother Jimmy Jack Funk (CWF Veteran Jesse Barr), before Dory left the WWF as well.
Together with Terry, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009 by their close personal friend “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes.
