On last night’s 200th episode of AEW Dynamite, former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam made his debut in All Elite Wrestling.
FTW Champion “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry called out former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Jerry Lynn to face him in the ring.
Jerry came out and said he’s not going to compete as he wasn’t cleared by the doctors and didn’t want to commit child abuse, but Perry could face a friend of his that was also in ECW.
This friend was revealed to be WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam. He came out to his ECW theme song “Walk” by Pantera.

While speaking to Renee Paquette backstage, RVD said he’ll face Jack for the FTW Title on next week’s Dynamite and that he might retire the FTW Title after winning it next week:

According to PWInsider, RVD is only contracted to work one match in AEW, which will be next week against Jungle Boy.
It should be noted that RVD still does business with WWE. WWE is advertising him for the WrestleMania 40 weekend packages in Philadelphia for April 2024.
RVD’s wife Katie Forbes was backstage at last night’s Dynamite, but didn’t appear on camera.
