• Backstage News On Roman Reigns vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

On SmackDown after WrestleMania 38, Shinsuke Nakamura interrupted Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns’ promo.

Roman hugged Nakamura in that segment and then The Usos laid him out with a Double Superkick.

Many fans thought we were going to see Reigns vs. Nakamura at WrestleMania Backlash, but that’s not the case.

WWE has already begun the Roman Reigns – Drew McIntyre feud, with them currently squaring off in a 6-man tag team match this Sunday at WrestleMania Backlash.

According to RSN, WWE Officials still have plans to do Roman vs. Shinsuke somewhere down the line:

“A lot of fans are still wondering what happened with Shinsuke Nakamura vs Roman Reigns.

We were told that Nakamura is there ‘to hit when it’s time’. The match won’t be a stadium show, but he is ‘there for us to use with Roman when we need it’.”
