• Old School WWF Referee Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Referee “Dangerous” Danny Davis celebrates his 64th birthday today.

Danny Davis worked as a World Wrestling Federation referee from 1981 until 1987 and again from 1989 till he retired in 1995.

In between those two periods of time as a referee, Davis was (in storyline) suspended by WWF President Jack Tunney and actually worked as a wrestler.

Danny even wrestled at WrestleMania III, where he teamed up with The Hart Foundation against the team of The British Bulldogs & Tito Santana, and also competed in the Battle Royal at WrestleMania IV.

In 2010, he was inducted into the `New England Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame´, but has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANNY DAVIS!

• Backstage News On The Undertaker Doing A Favour On AJ Styles By Returning In Time For WrestleMania 36

It looks like The Undertaker did a huge favour on AJ Styles by making his return to WWE programming on the Road to WrestleMania 36.

According to Tom Colohue, Undertaker wasn’t originally available for WrestleMania 36 and WWE didn’t have any plan for AJ Styles at the Show Of Shows.

Styles was involved in a feud with Randy Orton earlier this year, which suddenly got dropped as Orton entered into a feud with Edge.

Also, WWE officials were worried about Styles’ status on RAW as they felt Styles was forgotten about because he wasn’t involved in a major angle for a long time.

The Undertaker, who recently underwent some surgeries to help with his mobility, then told WWE that he’ll be available for WrestleMania if they need him.

WWE officials then pitched Undertaker a feud with AJ Styles, which The Phenom agreed to do.

So from almost missing WrestleMania to now having the biggest match of his career, Styles is really lucky that The Deadman came to his rescue in time.
