• Old School WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Veteran The Warlord (Real name: Terry Szopinski) celebrates his 58th birthday today.

Warlord joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1988 as one half of the famous NWA Tag Team ‘The Powers of Pain’.

He then became a singles wrestler in 1990, managed by Slick and later wrestled his final WWF match in April 1992.

In his last major run, he was reunited with his Tag Team partner The Barbarian in Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling, but in a bad booking decision they were put under masks and called The Super Assassins, thus hiding their true, famous & established personas, instead of just bringing them back as The Powers of Pain.

To this day, The Warlord still accepts independent wrestling bookings every now and then, where he still teams up with his long-time Tag Team partner.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WARLORD!

• Update On The Undertaker’s Physical Condition & Recent Surgeries, Reason Behind Boneyard Match At WrestleMania 36

WWE recently announced that The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles will be a Boneyard Match at WrestleMania 36.

This began speculation that WWE added this gimmick stipulation to protect Taker during this match, due to the physical limitations at his age and the amount of injuries he suffered during his career.

However, that’s not the case. The stipulation was announced mostly so the match doesn’t take place at the WWE Performance Center and doesn’t need an audience in attendance.

Tom Colohue said the following about Taker’s physical condition ahead of WrestleMania 36:

“The Undertaker is actually really fit at the moment. He’s on a very good training schedule. He’s had surgeries recently which have really helped his mobility. He’s not at his athletic peak but The Undertaker never wrestled as The Undertaker to his athletic peak.

He could always do a lot more than he was doing. This is a man who would regularly dive over the top rope. He could do all of the flippy stuff that people do now and he could do it 95, 97 and so on.

He’s very fit. He’s ready to go. I don’t think [the gimmick match] is necessarily camouflaged for The Undertaker.”
