On this day in 1992, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Wrestling Challenge’.
It was pre-taped at the Portland Civic Center in Portland, Maine and featured matches, promos & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF SummerSlam 1992’ PPV.

• Backstage News On Top WWE Wrestlers Reaching Out To AEW
WWE’s rival company, AEW, is loading its roster with a lot of big names. Many of those big names came from WWE, as most of them were either released by the company or just wanted to leave.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that even more big names in WWE have reached out to AEW to discuss a possible future with the company. This includes “virtually everybody” on the WWE roster, whether AEW has shown interest in them or not.
The only wrestler who never got into any sort of discussion with AEW is Roman Reigns.
Interestingly, Chris Jericho has The Big Dog on top of his list of wrestlers he wants to bring to AEW.
