• WWE Reportedly Planning Messy Finish For A Major Title Match At SummerSlam

WWE SummerSlam is just a week away, and the company has already announced another pay-per-view in the week following it. As noted before, the Payback pay-per-view will take place on Sunday, August 30th.

Obviously, WWE won’t have much time to build a whole new match-card, so expect to see some SummerSlam rematches at the event.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that one of the major Championship matches at SummerSlam will have a messy finish, which will lead to another match for the Title at Payback.

“I think that we’re gonna find out, I think the key will be an angle at SummerSlam will lead to an immediate rematch. We’ll see what that is whether it’s Drew and Randy Orton or it’s gonna be like it’s gonna be one of the two major championship matches will build toward an immediate return.”

As of this writing, the only thing scheduled for Payback is Bayley & Sasha Banks defending their Women’s Tag Team Championship.
