Below are a couple of top WWE, NJPW & AEW news stories of the day:

• As we reported before, Triple H wanted to bring former NXT wrestler Sarray back to WWE, but she ended up signing with Sukeban.

Now, Triple H is eyeing signing current NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Giulia.

According to PWInsider, talks between both sides are going good and she will come to the WWE Performance Center sometime this month.

The Wrestling Observer provided the following update on Giulia:

“The Giulia stuff is far more serious as she has an offer (from WWE) and obviously Stardom and Rossy Ogawa are aware of it, and she’s close to Ogawa and did have a verbal agreement to work with him next year.”

Giulia is under contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling until March 2024. The Observer noted that if Giulia is offered an NXT contract, then NJPW can match that offer. However, if WWE offers Giulia a direct main roster contract, which starts at $250,000, then that’s a lot more than what she’ll make in Japan.

• All In 2023 at Wembley Stadium in London was AEW’s biggest show to date.

During a media call to promote tonight’s Full Gear PPV, AEW President Tony Khan revealed that All In: London did 200,000 pay-per-view buys, thus making it the second most-bought PPV in the history of All Elite Wrestling.

All Out 2021 holds the record for the most AEW PPV buys at 205,000. That PPV featured CM Punk’s first match in AEW (and his first match in over 7 years) and the debuts of Adam Cole and Bryan Danielson.

According to the Wrestling Observer, AEW’s long-term plan is to do All In at Wembley Stadium every year in late August on a Sunday of the holiday weekend.

All In 2024 will take place at Wembley Stadium on August 25th.
