– A Battle Royal will take place on tonight’s RAW to crown the #1 contender for Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship.
This Battle Royal winner will get his title shot at the Night Of Champions 2023 premium live event in Saudi Arabia on May 27th.
Gunther vs. Mustafa Ali is currently scheduled to take place at Night Of Champions. Expect Ali to win the Battle Royal tonight. Ali defeated Otis on last week’s RAW.
Gunther is back from his Honeymoon with former NXT UK wrestler Jinny. He worked this past weekend’s WWE Live Events, where he defeated Johnny Gargano on both Saturday & Sunday to retain the Intercontinental Title.
In April, Gunther made two televised title defenses. He defeated Drew McIntyre and Sheamus in a Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania 39 and then went on to defeat Xavier Woods on an episode of SmackDown.
– BoozerRasslin also reported that the Trish Stratus – Becky Lynch rivalry will be a multi-match feud, with the first match taking place at Night Of Champions. This match will be confirmed on tonight’s RAW.
