• Backstage News On USA Network’s Reaction To NXT 2.0

According to Fightful Select, USA Network seems to be very happy and pleased with the new direction WWE’s developmental brand NXT is going in with its ‘NXT 2.0’ rebranding.

Here’s what they reported:

“USA Network sources we spoke to said that they were ‘elated’ about the direction of NXT 2.0 specifically.”

The USA Network first had the WWF on its cable TV channel in 1983, and is currently airing both WWE Monday Night RAW and NXT 2.0!

Here’s what Fightful reported about USA’s reaction to WWE’s treatment of RAW:

“A source we spoke to at USA Network pointed to the Hell in a Cell matches that both aired on FOX and USA Network surrounding the PPV as a look at some of the posturing between networks, and WWE doing their best to work with both sides.

The same source said that there were several at USA who grew tired of ‘scapegoats and shortcuts’ in the two years before the pandemic, and wanted that to change now that live fans have returned.”
