• Backstage News On Who Has The Highest Salary In TNA

As TNA continues locking in talent on short-term agreements, one of the company’s most high-profile acts remains notably absent from the list – for now. Despite their central role on television and in the promotion’s current direction, TNA World Tag Team Champions Matt and Jeff Hardy have yet to officially put pen to paper on new contracts, according to Fightful Select.

The Hardy Boys’ value extends beyond the ring. Sources indicate their involvement was a key factor in helping TNA secure its new television partnership with AMC, further reinforcing why the promotion is eager to keep them in place long term. Despite that importance, negotiations are still ongoing, with no finalized agreement announced as of now.

Internally, there is confidence that a deal will come together sooner rather than later. TNA officials were reportedly aiming to secure the brothers on a long-term commitment rather than another short-term arrangement.

When Carlos Silva publicly stated that he was looking forward to working with The Hardys for years ahead, some fans took that as confirmation a deal was already done. However, Fightful clarified that while talks were positive at the time, no contracts had actually been signed – a situation that remains unchanged, though expectations are that this will be resolved within the coming weeks.

Behind the scenes, there has also been widespread belief that The Hardys sit at the very top of TNA’s pay scale. While exact figures haven’t been disclosed, multiple sources have speculated that they are among, if not the, highest-earning talents currently on the roster.

• “F**k The Fed” – Fans After Tony Khan Reveals Original Plan For Debut Episode Of AEW Dynamite In 2019

When All Elite Wrestling brought the AEW Dynamite tapings to New York City on December 20, 2025, the setting alone carried historic weight. The taping took place at the iconic Hammerstein Ballroom, drawing a passionate crowd that was eager to hear from company leadership.

Before the show got underway, AEW President Tony Khan stepped out to address the audience. In addition to thanking fans for their support, he teased the possibility of bringing a future AEW pay-per-view to New York, which immediately sparked loud chants from the crowd calling for Madison Square Garden.

That chant led Khan to share a surprising story from AEW’s earliest days. According to him, Madison Square Garden was initially lined up to host the very first episode of Dynamite in 2019. Khan explained that MSG had reached out and offered him the date, an opportunity he said he was excited to accept at the time.

However, the plan quietly fell apart. Khan told the crowd that a few months later, he received another call informing him that the offer was no longer on the table. Khan was reportedly told that hosting AEW at MSG would “really upset somebody.”

The implication wasn’t lost on the audience, as chants erupted referencing WWE: “F**k the Fed.”
