• The AEW WrestleDream 2024 pay-per-view on October 12th at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington, delivered an unforgettable event packed with significant moments.
Headlined by Bryan Danielson’s AEW World Championship match against Jon Moxley, the show saw Moxley defeat Danielson to claim the title, thus ending Bryan’s full-time career.

According to the Wrestling Observer, WrestleDream’s PPV buy rate matched that of AEW’s All Out 2024 event, both pulling in 105,000 buys.
Television buys for WrestleDream increased by 1.6% from the previous month.
Comparing this year’s event to last year’s event (which featured Edge aka Adam Copeland’s surprise debut), WrestleDream 2023 closed with around 110,000 buys, meaning the 2024 event experienced a slight drop, ending with 5,000 fewer buys.
