Bayley Is Worried After What Happened In Saudi Arabia

Bianca Belair defeats Bayley WWE Crown Jewel 2022 WrestleFeed App

Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving Bayley and CM Punk:

• Kairi Sane returned to WWE at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia and helped IYO SKY defeat Bianca Belair to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.

IYO & Kairi beat up Bianca after the match. Bayley looked surprised and was scared to see what was happening because she beat up Kairi a few years ago and sent her out of WWE.

According to insider source BWE, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H is interested in forming a faction with IYO, Kairi and Asuka.

Bayley is back in the US and tweeted the following to Dakota Kai this morning:

“@ImKingKota I’m back in the states from Saudi. Call me back.”

It looks like Bayley is worried, as the future of Damage CTRL doesn’t look bright after the return of Kairi.

• After getting fired from All Elite Wrestling, CM Punk is a Free Agent. There are rumors going on that he could return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023 in Chicago later this month. WWE has sold over 16,000 tickets for this event already.

Insider source BWE reported earlier today that the backstage feeling within WWE is that Punk is indeed returning to the company after almost 10 years. Punk was recently scheduled for a call with WWE board members.

Punk took to his Instagram story to mock this report about having a call with WWE board members. He wrote:

“Meeting with Phil Zacko and Jack Tunney at the China club, brother.”

He also posted a list of WWE and AEW’s top merch sellers and bragged about his position on it. He wrote:

“Thank you Fanhausens for keeping Danhausen on this top ten list when I have been off of TV for nearly 8 months. Love that Danhausen.”
