8. Bayley Making Her Main Roster Debut At Battleground 2016?
At this week’s SmackDown tapings, WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte challenged Sasha Banks to a tag team match at Battleground 2016. Charlotte will team up with Dana Brooke while Sasha’s tag team partner will be revealed at Battleground 2016 itself.

There has been speculation that the mystery partner of Sasha could be former NXT Women’s Champion Bayley. While Bayley is scheduled to debut on the main roster this Summer, word was that WWE would hold it off till NXT Takeover: Back To Brooklyn. But now it looks like Bayley would be doing a double duty until the Takeover event in Brooklyn.

Former Divas Champion Nikki Bella recently noted on Twitter that her final CAT scan is coming up in a few weeks. While some people would be wondering it could be Nikki Bella, but she won’t be returning to in-ring action until late 2016 or early 2017.

7. Randy Orton Training At The Performance Center

As we noted in the above news update, Randy Orton will be the special guest on Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel at Battleground 2016. This will be Orton’s return on WWE Programming as he has been off WWE TV since October 2015 due to a shoulder injury. Orton has started training at the WWE Performance Center and below is what he tweeted:

Orton will face “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam 2016.
