During an interview with Inside The Ropes, Becky Lynch was asked about the allegations against her former boss, Vince McMahon.
Here’s what The Man said:
“I’ve been fortunate in my career that I’ve always felt supported by the company. These allegations are horrible.
It’s hard to reconcile, as a talent and as a woman, but my experience in WWE has only ever been amazing.
Yes, in the beginning, there were some restrictions put on things. We couldn’t punch, we had to hair pull, there were weird things there.
Being able to push us forward, push women forward, I’m very grateful for that and the opportunity to even have my family.
This company…some of these things are hard to reconcile.”
On the topic of Vince’s allegations, Becky’s husband and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins said the following during an interview with Sean Ross Sapp:
“It’s a crap situation. I said it in that interview on radio row. It sucks. It’s horrible. It’s disgusting. I don’t like hearing about it, reading about it, it’s abhorent.
I hope, if the allegations are accurate, I hope anybody involved with it gets what’s coming to them. It sucks.
For me, it’s very difficult because I didn’t see that side of him. I didn’t experience that. When you see stuff like that, it’s jarring and it’s painful.
It sucks all around. There is just no other way to say it. It sucks. It really sucks.”
