Becky Lynch Reacts To Ronda Rousey Not Choosing Her For WrestleMania 38 Match

Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch - WrestleMania 36

• Becky Lynch Reacts To Ronda Rousey Not Choosing Her For WrestleMania 38 Match

In the main event segment of last night’s SmackDown, Sonya Deville told SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair that Ronda Rousey has chosen RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch as her WrestleMania 38 opponent.

Charlotte then said “Mom vs. Mom” is the easy choice for Ronda, so she understands. Charlotte said she’s going to pick her own WrestleMania 38 opponent, and it’s Sasha Banks.

Ronda then came out and said Charlotte isn’t special, she’s just first and then said the following:

“I’ll see you at WrestleMania, b*tch.”

Charlotte then said:

“This Title is my baby and it’s prettier than yours.”

Ronda then removed her jacket and Sonya stopped her from getting physical. Charlotte then tried to punch Ronda, but Ronda ducked it. Sonya tried to attack Rousey, but Rousey took her down with the Piper’s Pit and then locked in the Armbar to send a message to The Queen.

Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship will take place at WrestleMania 38.

Becky tweeted the following about Ronda’s decision to face Charlotte:

“Smart choice, Ronnie. Go for the gazpacho.”

According to reports, WWE is saving Lynch vs. Rousey for WrestleMania 39, and even Ronda hinted this during her promo last night, when she said Charlotte is ‘first’.

In the main event of WrestleMania 35 in 2019, Becky pinned Ronda in a Triple Threat Match (also involving Charlotte) to win the RAW & SmackDown Women’s Championship. This is Ronda’s only pinfall loss in WWE so far.
