Nikki Garcia aka WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev have finalized their divorce after a contentious split involving allegations of domestic violence and financial disputes. The couple, who share a 4-year-old son, Matteo, resolved the matter privately.
“Nikki and Artem have settled their divorce and will not be going to court,” Nikki’s spokesperson told E! News on November 20. “Nikki’s No. 1 priority has always been her son and privacy on the matter. She is thankful for all of the love and support she has received during this difficult time.”
The settlement comes after an August 29 incident at their Northern California home, where Artem was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence. The charge was later dropped, prompting Artem to express his relief in September: “I’m incredibly relieved and grateful this legal saga has come to an end.”
Following the arrest, Nikki filed for divorce, citing the same day as their separation date. She also sought a restraining order, alleging Artem had attacked her.
In response, Artem claimed in legal filings that Nikki was the aggressor during the altercation. Both eventually dropped their restraining orders to prioritize co-parenting Matteo.
Artem has also accused Nikki of causing him financial harm. He claimed that “false allegations” cost him over $100,000 in lost income, though details remain unclear.
Despite the disputes, both are reportedly committed to maintaining civility for their son. Artem’s attorney stated, “He and Nikki are focused on co-parenting and working together for the best interests of their son.”
In an update, Nikki has deleted all her Instagram posts, which included many photos with Artem. Nikki’s twin sister Brie Bella has also unfollowed Artem to end the relationship once and for all.
