On a recent episode of the ‘True Geordie’ podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle expressed his admiration and respect for Brock Lesnar, an 11-time World Champion in professional wrestling and a 1-time World Heavyweight Champion in combat sports (UFC/MMA).
Angle highlighted Lesnar’s undeniable legitimacy and dominance in the wrestling world, considering him one of the most dangerous and accomplished wrestlers in history, with whom he shares a deep friendship, and unequivocally named him the best wrestler during the podcast discussion.
Here’s what Kurt had to say:
“Brock was special because not only was he a great amateur wrestler, but this guy was the most powerful, quickest person I’ve ever met for his size, strongest, smartest, just overall best wrestler I’ve ever seen.
It didn’t matter where Brock went, he was gonna succeed no matter what.
It didn’t matter what sport you put him in basketball, you put him in football, you put him in soccer, doesn’t matter.
He’s going to excel, he’s going to be at the top, he’s going to be the best at whatever he does. That’s how good Brock Lesnar is.”
According to the Wrestling Observer, Brock Lesnar is expected to return to WWE at the upcoming ‘WWE Royal Rumble 2024’ premium-live-event and is most likely going to enter the annual 30-man Royal Rumble match.
