• Old School Wrestling Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the 142nd birthday of Old School Wrestling Legend “The Russian Lion” George Hackenschmidt.
Born in Estonia, George Hackenschmidt became one of the first big names in professional wrestling history and quite a few historians actually consider him to have been one of the best of all time.
Hackenschmidt became the first ever recognized World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion in 1905, a championship that was the official precursor of what later became the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
The famous “hack squat” exercise was actually named after him.
In 2016, George was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of their annual Legacy Wing inductions.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY & † REST IN PEACE

• Big Cass Opens Up About Going Off Script In WWE & Regretting The Decision Later
During a recent interview with Pro Wrestling Sheet, former WWE wrestler Big Cass opened up about going off script during a segment where he brought a midget version of Daniel Bryan and beat him up.
Cass’ attack on the person was way more than what was scripted.
You can watch it below:
Below is what Cass said about this:
“It was a f*cking mistake. It was a dumb decision on my part. So stupid. It was probably the worst decision I ever made. And it’s so crazy what I was going through at the time, because if you would’ve told anybody two years prior — even a year prior — that I was gonna do that, they would’ve said ‘you’re f*cking crazy. He’s a model employee.’
I regret it to this day. So f*cking stupid. I just did what I thought was right and it was a very stupid decision. Very f*cking stupid. I shouldn’t have done it.”
