6. More Legal Trouble Coming For WWE?
Another class action lawsuit over royalties and WWE Network might be in the works from former WWE wrestlers. The case is that the WWE Network is replacing DVDs and Blu-Rays, causing the DVD/Blu-Ray revenue to decline. The wrestlers feel they should get their fair share of revenue generated from the WWE Network.
Families of Doug Somers and Eddie Gilbert tried getting royalities from their clips being shown on WWE Programming, but they failed.
5. Paul Heyman Says He Works 22 Hours a Day
During a recent interview with AwfulAnnouncing, WWE manager Paul Heyman noted that he works 22 hours a day.
Below is what he said:
“I work about 22 hours a day and I enjoy every moment of it. I don’t sleep that much, I come from a long line of insomniacs. I enjoy my life too much. I don’t have time to turn off the switch. If I’m sleeping I hope I’m dreaming of what project I’m going to be launching the next morning. This is too much for me.
There’s too much enjoyment in what I do. I am genuinely exhilarated every single morning when my feet hit the ground because I truly enjoy the plethora of jobs that I have.”
