• Big Praise For R-Truth Backstage In WWE
As seen on this week’s SmackDown, 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick pinned R-Truth to win the WWE 24/7 Championship.
Maverick then noted that he’s going to get married because he’s the champion now.
There were reports that we might see Maverick lose the WWE 24/7 Title at his wedding and that’s exactly what happened!
R-Truth rolled up Maverick out of nowhere and won the Title at the wedding! You can watch it below:
According to Brad Shepard, R-Truth is getting big praise backstage in WWE for his work in these 24/7 Title segments and videos featuring Truth have drawn big numbers on YouTube as well (video of him pinning Jinder Mahal on a flight drew 8.6 million views!).
Shepard also noted that R-Truth is said to be WWE’s top draw on Social Media right now:
“A source in WWE described R-Truth to me as their biggest draw on all platforms, also noting he is singlehandedly carrying social media right now.”
