Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day.

• Jade Cargill, absent since a backstage attack on SmackDown in November 2024, is expected to return soon following the events of RAW.

With Bianca Belair and Naomi losing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship to Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez, WWE is now refocusing on Cargill’s injury storyline.

PWInsider reports that Jade could return as early as this Friday’s SmackDown or at Elimination Chamber in Toronto on Saturday.

Cargill recently completed training at the WWE Performance Center in preparation for her comeback.

• Bron Breakker has been dominant since winning the Intercontinental Championship last year, and with WrestleMania 41 approaching, WWE’s plans for him are becoming clearer.

WrestleVotes reported that WWE is considering a multi-man match for the Intercontinental Championship, a format often used for the IC Title and Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania. While it’s unclear if a ladder match will be involved, a traditional one-on-one title match has been ruled out.

“They’re tossing around a multi-man, which has become tradition here at WrestleMania, whether the Intercontinental Title or Tag Titles last year, but I’d be surprised if it wasn’t a multi-man type of match since I heard rumblings about that.

Not saying there was going to be a ladder involved. Don’t know if that’s the direction they’re going, but I doubt it’s Bron Breakker versus X in a one-on-one match.”

Breakker recently started a feud with AJ Styles and had a face-off with Finn Balor on this week’s RAW.
