2. WWF Legend Says He Was Once Supposed To Be Chris Benoit’s Brother

During a recent edition of the Talk Is Jericho podcast, WWF Legend Chris Jericho and Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer (who was a guest of the podcast) discussed the career of Chris Benoit (as it’s one 10 years since the Chris Benoit tragedy).

During the show, Jericho recalled an old story where he was supposed to be Chris Benoit’s brother. Below is what he said:

“When I first started in Calgary I was training at the Silver Dollar Action Center with Lance Storm and a cast of miscreants that will never be heard from again. There was a local promoter called Bob Puppets, that was actually his real name believe it or not. And he said he was gonna book me on my first show and he said he wanted to call me Rob Benoit, Chris Benoit’s little brother because he thought I looked like him so much.”
