– Charlotte Flair Explains Why She Wants To Face Ronda Rousey At WrestleMania
During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, SmackDown Live Star Charlotte Flair talked about the rumors of her match with Ronda Rousey, Ric Flair’s health & more. Below are the highlights:
On Ric Flair’s health:
“My dad’s doing well. He went home last week and I believe he has his first appearance next week, so he’s recovering well. He’s putting on weight, and he’s doing great.”
On why she wants to face Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania:
“Here’s the thing: With Ronda being part of the division, or her having whatever interest, whether it to be part of the division or as just a fan, it brings more eyes to the women’s division, which I’m all for. Especially with a crossover star like she is.
But I mean, would I want to have another fatal four-way with the four horsewomen? That would be at the top of my list. It’s not that she’s my dream opponent, it’s just I want to main event WrestleMania – and with the proper storyline. I can think me vs. Ronda Rousey has a WrestleMania feel to it.”
On what she wants her legacy to be:
“Nothing is more important in our industry than respect. Just having the respect of my peers at the end of the day and arguably going down as one of the greatest of all time in my own way.”
– Big Segment Planned For Tonight’s SmackDown Live
As seen at Hell In A Cell 2017 PPV, Sami Zayn turned heel and helped Kevin Owens defeat Shane McMahon. An explanation from Zayn regarding his actions is expected tonight on SmackDown Live and below is what WWE posted:
“Though the intense Hell in a Cell Match between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens gave the WWE Universe plenty of jaw-dropping moments to discuss, the most-talked about instance of the match came when Sami Zayn pulled KO out of the way of Shane-O-Mac, who leapt off the top of the Cell in hopes of ending his rivalry with Owens with a definitive elbow drop.
Zayn’s actions were in direct contrast to the warnings he gave the SmackDown LIVE Commissioner in recent weeks, telling him about the lengths Owens, his former best friend, would go to. Will Zayn explain why he helped KO claim victory at WWE Hell in a Cell?”
