• “We can’t keep relying on the same small-knit group of people that have a track record of success” – Top AEW Star

During an interview with Justin Barrasso, AEW star Kenny Omega had the following to say about the future of the professional wrestling business:

“I could main event until I’m dead. But what follows after if I haven’t built anybody – or if I haven’t had a hand in helping the next generation rise up? That’s more so my role now than it’s ever been.

We can’t keep relying on the same small-knit group of people that have a track record of success. We need to be cognizant of what we’re doing moving forward.”

Before his match against John Cena at Wrestlepalooza 2025, Brock Lesnar attacked WWE commentator Corey Graves on an episode of SmackDown and hit Graves with two F5s.

During an interview on Steel City Sunday, Corey explained why The Beast was booked to attack him:

“The Lesnar thing. I actually needed paternity time, so that was a good way to write me off TV. It was the most fun I’ve ever had being in pain.

I was a little stiff for a couple of days afterwards. My hip was giving me some trouble after the second F5.”
