1. Big Update On How Long Jinder Mahal’s Historic WWE Title Reign Will Last, Original SummerSlam 2017 Plan For WWE Title Still Intact?

“The Maharaja” Jinder Mahal shocked the world last night when he captured the WWE Championship (and made history by becoming the first ever Indian origin WWE Champion) by defeating the 13 time World Champion Randy Orton.

For those who don’t know, Jinder was booked to win the WWE Championship to generate more interest in WWE for the Indian viewers and to generate big sales with the newly opened WWE Shop in India.

With that being said, word going on is that Jinder isn’t expected to hold on to the WWE Title for long, as current SummerSlam 2017 plans are for Randy Orton & AJ Styles to compete in the WWE Championship match (which was the original SummerSlam 2017 plan and it’s still intact as of now).

This would likely mean that Orton will recapture the Title soon and become a 14 time World Champion (as WWE officials want Styles to go after the WWE Title at SummerSlam 2017, not the other way around).

We’ll keep you updated on this.
