On this day in 1998, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired another episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW Thunder’.
This episode was pre-taped at the Five Seasons Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and featured matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WCW Uncensored 1998’ PPV.

• Big Update On WWE Status Of The Hardy Boyz
As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, Matt Hardy returned to WWE programming and reformed The Hardy Boyz with his brother, Jeff Hardy.
The Hardy Boyz went on to defeat former SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar.
According to PWInsider, WWE invoked a clause in Hardy Boyz’ contract which will see their contract roll over for a third year. As we have noted before, Hardy Boyz signed a 2 year deal back in March 2017.
Word going on is that The Hardy Boyz received a significant pay raise for this 3rd year.
