On this day in Pro Wrestling history on April 29, 2001, the World Wrestling Federation aired their annual ‘WWF Backlash’ event LIVE on PPV from the Allstate Arena (fka Rosemont Horizon) in Rosemont, Illinois.

Shane McMahon’s huge fall onto The Big Show during their Last Man Standing match is still considered legendary among fans nowadays.

• Bobby Lashley Going After RAW Title?

As seen at the Greatest Royal Rumble event, the team of WOKEN Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt defeated The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) to win the vacant RAW Tag Team Titles.

RAW Superstar Bobby Lashley congratulated Matt Hardy on his Title win on Twitter, but he also teased going after Wyatt & Hardy for the RAW Tag Team Titles by tagging “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman (who was his tag team partner on last week’s RAW) and using a thinking emoji in his tweet.
