• Booker T Wants Brock Lesnar vs. Big E

During a recent edition of his Hall of Fame podcast, two time WWE Hall of Famer Booker T said that Big E should face WWE Champion Brock Lesnar.

Below is what Booker said:

“Big E needs more air time. He definitely could become a star. Putting Big E in the right position, at the right time, he definitely could be the guy. And I talked to him about that. He was a little frustrated, and I talked to him about that.

I can see him competing with Brock Lesnar on a one-on-one scale, because the guy has a low center of gravity, but he’s just as wide, and he probably weighs perhaps more than Brock Lesnar.

And a guy like that, literally, from a fighting standpoint, it would really be hard for a guy like Brock Lesnar fighting a guy like that just because of the strength. Who you gonna give it to? In a strength match-up, I’m gonna give it to Big E.”

• Update On WWE Paying Low Salary To Kairi Sane & Io Shirai During Their 1st Contract

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer recently gave the following update on the salaries of NXT wrestler Io Shirai and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Kairi Sane during their first contract:

“WWE did not pay big money for [Io] Shirai and [Kairi] Sane, believed to be in the range of $60,000 per year for each to start, which is less than both were earning in Stardom. Sane likely makes more now working on the main roster than she did in Japan.”
