Surprise During The Intercontinental Championship Match
Dolph and Drew are now heading towards the ring for the Intercontinental Title match and Strowman attacks Drew out of nowhere. Strowman brutally attacks McIntyre and McIntyre is left hurt.
This means Ziggler will be alone in his Intercontinental Title match against Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose being on Rollins’ side.
The Intercontinental Title match begins and Ziggler is feeling the need for McIntyre being on his side and interfering in between so he can take advantage during the match.
Rollins is picking up momentum and it looks like he is going to finish Ziggler with the Stomp and capture the Intercontinental Title for the second time.
However, Jinder Mahal suddenly attacks Dean Ambrose on the outside and takes him out.
This causes distraction in the ring as Rollins is looking on and can’t understand what just happened.
This leads to Ziggler taking advantage and pinning Rollins out of nowhere to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
Ziggler and Mahal celebrate the win and head to the backstage area together while rollins and Ambrose are left confused in the ring.
