• Braun Strowman Set An Incredible Record On This Week’s RAW
This week’s RAW kicked off with Braun Strowman facing T-BAR & MACE in a 1-on-2 Handicap Match.
The match ended with Strowman winning via DQ. T-BAR & MACE continued attacking Strowman after the match and Drew McIntyre made the save. This led to a Tag Team match.
T-BAR & MACE ended up defeating Strowman & McIntyre via Count-Out. Strowman got angry at McIntyre and took him out with a Powerslam after the match.
This led to a singles match between Strowman & McIntyre in the main event of RAW, where Strowman defeated McIntyre after Bobby Lashley, MVP, T-BAR & MACE got involved.
This victory earned Strowman a WWE Championship match. It will now be Bobby Lashley vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania Backlash.
After competing in 3 matches on RAW, Strowman has now become the first man ever in WWE/WCW/ECW history to compete in televised Singles, Tag Team & Handicap Matches on the same night!
After RAW went off the air, Strowman said the following about his upcoming WWE Title match:
“This means everything. Everything that I’ve been saying for months has come true, the Monster is where he belongs. I’m at top of the food chain.
I eat everything that’s in my path, and the Strowman Express is just rolling.
I’m rolling through WWE WrestleMania Backlash and I’m coming out the backside the new WWE Champion.”
