In the opening match of tonight’s episode of NXT, Lio Rush defeated Drew Gulak to win the NXT Cruiserweight Championship.

It should be noted that WWE has now officially changed the name of WWE Cruiserweight Championship to NXT Cruiserweight Championship.

On the other hand, tonight’s AEW Dynamite opened with The Young Bucks vs. Private Party.

Private Party went on to defeat The Young Bucks to advance into the next round of the AEW World Tag Team Title tournament.
