• Old School WCW/WWF Veteran Diagnosed With Cancer

Memphis Wrestling is reporting that Old School WCW/WWF Veteran Tracy Smothers has been diagnosed with cancer.

Below is the official statement:

“Tracy Smothers Diagnosed With Cancer

On November 14, 2019, Tennessee wrestling legend Tracy Smothers was diagnosed with Lymphoma, a rare form of cancer in the body’s disease-fighting network. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy and the tumors are shrinking. While in the doctor’s care, he was also informed that he has arterial blockage that’s causing his heart to function at only 45 percent.

In spite of his condition, Tracy remains in good spirits and says he looks at this as “getting an overhaul, tires rotated, oil changed, etc., all in one.” And he had a few wise words for his fans to remember: “LIFE is a BATTLE and I’m in it to win it, so don’t hesitate in trying to be tough by putting off getting checked out, in this day an age u never know.”
