• BREAKING NEWS: WWE Championship Match Announced For WrestleMania 37
Tonight’s RAW kicked off with a major announcement – Bobby Lashley will defend the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 37.
It was previously rumored that McIntyre will face Sheamus in a Last Man Standing match at FastLane 2021 PPV this Sunday and the winner of that match will face Lashley for the Title at WrestleMania, but WWE didn’t go that route.
This was likely done because WrestleMania 37 tickets will go on sale tomorrow and only two matches were announced for WrestleMania 37 prior to this.
Below is the updated match-card for WrestleMania 37:
– Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) OR Daniel Bryan vs. Edge
– WWE Championship Match: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
– SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bianca Belair
