Below are some top WWE news stories of the day, involving Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan and more.

• Bret Hart, in a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, responded to Hulk Hogan’s claim that Hart’s perceived belief in his own greatness was the source of their conflict.

Here’s what The Hitman had to say about that:

“I heard something a few months ago where Hulk Hogan was talking about me. He said the problem with Bret Hart is that he really does think he was the greatest wrestler of all time.

And I remember thinking about that and going, yeah, maybe that might be the most truthful thing he’s ever said.”

• Kevin Nash, on his “Kliq This” podcast, offered his observations and advice regarding Jey Uso’s current singles run in WWE, suggesting the star might be experiencing the physical strain of his elevated position.

The 2-time WWE Hall of Famer also advised Jey to start doing what Hulk Hogan used to do:

“I thought Jey looked tired. I think Jey looks like he’s put some weight on; I think the pressure of this spot is weighing on him. He’s over as f**k. He’s just gotta relax. I think he needs to do some cardio. These houses are so f**king electric in Europe, but they get with them anyway.

Like I said, that YEET thing is like Jazzercise. If you get too involved in that process, I think he really has to get in the middle of the ring after they introduce him.

I think he has to do like Hogan used to do with the gimmick. He needs to YEET one side, YEET, YEET, YEET, go to all four sides. Don’t go to the corners, don’t jump up, just do it right in the middle of the ring and then lock up and do your match.

I think he’s gotta save his energy and then he can YEET all he wants after he gets the win. That’s the Steve Austin 10 minutes after the show is over and they’re still throwing Steve beers. That’s where you make that connection with the people.”
