• AEW’s Huge Plan For Cope After Dynasty Loss Revealed
At tonight’s AEW Dynasty PPV, Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta, Pac, & Claudio Castagnoli) defeated Rated FTR (Cope, Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) to retain the AEW Trios Championship.
During the ending moments of the match, Wheeler pushed Cope (WWE Hall of Famer Edge) into Dax and then pinned Dax for the win. After the match, Cope & Cash helped up Dax and all 3 men hugged. Cope raised FTR’s hand. Dax then turned heel and laid out Cope with a Piledriver!
Dax brought two steel chairs into the ring for a Con-Chair-To and gave the second chair to Cash, as he wants Cash to hit Cope with it. Cash refused and pushed down Dax.
Cash then picked up Cope and hit Cope with the Shatter Machine along with Dax, thus turning heel as well. FTR then hit a Piledriver on top of a steel chair, followed by two Con-Chair-Tos to the Rated-R Superstar. Cope was taken to the back on a stretcher.
