• Raw Champion Comments On Working On Christmas This Year

During a recent interview with Sporting News, Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss had the following to say regarding WWE doing a live Raw on Christmas this year:

“Honestly, I didn’t really have an opinion on it. [Laughs] It’s what we do. This is our job and no matter what day it falls on we have to do our job. I know some people were not too happy about it – the people that have families and stuff like that – but it’s work.

It’s what we have to do. We signed up for it. I don’t really have an opinion on it. I just figured I’d make the best of it.”

• Brock Lesnar Not Defending The Universal Title At Elimination Chamber 2018 PPV, Spoiler On The Possible Main Event

Before WrestleMania 34 next year, three PPV events will take place – Royal Rumble 2018, Elimination Chamber 2018 & FastLane 2018. Royal Rumble is going to be a dual-branded show, Elimination Chamber will be a Raw exclusive show and FastLane will be a SmackDown Live exclusive show.

Current plan is for Lesnar to successfully defend his Universal Title at Royal Rumble 2018 PPV (his opponent for the Rumble isn’t known as the moment) and then defend his Title straight in the main event of WrestleMania 34. This means that Lesnar won’t defend his Title at the Elimination Chamber 2018 PPV.

Instead of the Universal Title being defended in the main event of the Elimination Chamber 2018 PPV, a #1 Contenders Elimination Chamber match is expected to take place in the main event of the PPV and it is very much possible that “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns will win this match and earn the right to face Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania 34 for the Universal Championship.

Below is the description for Elimination Chamber 2018 PPV (it should be noted that Lensar isn’t advertised for the show among the top stars):

“The WWE Elimination Chamber event will air live on Pay-Per-View from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018. Fans will have the opportunity to see WWE Raw Superstars battle inside 10 tons of unforgiving steel.

Head to the Las Vegas Strip to see Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, The Miz and many more fan favorite WWE Superstars.”

Elimination Chamber 2017 was a SmackDown Live exclusive PPV and it ended with “The Eater of Worlds” Bray Wyatt winning the Elimination Chamber match and capturing the WWE Championship for the first time ever.
