• Brock Lesnar Not Working SummerSlam 2018?
As seen on this week’s episode of RAW, RAW General Manager Kurt Angle announced that Universal Champion Brock Lesnar pulled out of the agreement for his next match and the #1 contenders bout at Extreme Rules 2018 will no longer take place.
PWInsider is speculating that there’s a possibility Brock won’t be working SummerSlam 2018 PPV because he might be training for his UFC return. In the absence of Brock, WWE might be focusing on another top attraction – Ronda Rousey (who’s scheduled to be involved in the RAW Women’s Title match at SummerSlam 2018).
PWInsider also noted that it’s possible WWE wants Brock to take the Universal Title to the UFC and promote their brand to the MMA audience in UFC.
It’ll be interesting to see where WWE is going with the current storyline of the Universal Championship.
Speaking of Lesnar, Paul Heyman noted on Twitter that when WWE builds its shows around challengers and not around the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, then commercials are the best part of RAW.
Blunt answer to your interratory: Because when #RAW is built around CHALLENGERS (aka "wannabes") instead of a once-ever athlete (@BrockLesnar) and his humble @Advocate, the commercials are actually the best part of the show!
