• Brock Lesnar To Feud With An Old Rival Again?

On last week’s episode of SmackDown, Drew McIntyre defeated Mustafa Ali via Submission, after using the Kimura Lock.

According to the Wrestling Observer, this move was specifically used to plant seeds for another Drew McIntyre vs. Brock Lesnar feud:

“There was significance in Drew McIntyre using the Kimura (Brock Lesnar’s submission move) on Mustafa Ali on SmackDown.”

Lesnar vs. McIntyre main evented Night 2 of WrestleMania 36, where McIntyre slayed The Beast within 5 minutes to win the WWE Championship.

This was a highly anticipated bout, which got ruined (like a lot of other matches) due to 0 fans in attendance due to COVID-19.

During an appearance on WWE’s The Bump last month, McIntyre said he’d like an opportunity to face The Beast again, this time in front of the fans:

“I’m always excited to get into the ring with the absolute best. There’s not many that are as good or as physical as Brock Lesnar.

At WrestleMania, I did defeat him in 5 minutes. But I would like the opportunity to face Brock again and in front of a live audience.”
