2. Big Cass To Be The One To Defeat Brock Lesnar?
The original plan was for Roman Reigns to be the one to defeat “The Conquerer” Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31 to capture his 1st WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but that plan was dropped due to WWE officials thinking it was too early for Lesnar to lose a match clean.
Following Roman’s wellness policy suspension, Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer is reporting that Roman might not be booked to defeat Brock Lesnar and the only other guy he sees being booked to beat Lesnar is Big Cass.
As we have noted before, Vince McMahon was very impressed with Big Cass during his singles run on WWE programming when Enzo Amore was injured.
Below is what Dave Meltzer said:
“They’ve kept Brock so strong, I don’t know mentality on Roman. The only guy I see is Cass. People react to him great, and maybe that’s the guy Brock ends up losing to, but that could be in a couple of years.”
